Day 27/20- Philly Cheese-Steak Loaded Fries Ingredients: - 200g scotch fillet steak, sliced as thin as possible - 1/2 brown onion, sliced thin - 3 slices provolone cheese - 2 brushed potato’s, washed and peeled - 1 tsp sugar - 1.5 tsp paprika - 1 tsp garlic powder - 1 tsp onion powder - 1 tbsp lard/cooking oil - 1 tsp olive oil 1. Add onion to a frying pan on medium/low heat. Add salt and sugar and cook for 15-20 mins, stirring frequently 2. Slice potato’s into fries, dry really well with paper towel and add to a bowl along with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper and olive oil. 3. Cook fries in an air fryer, occasionally stirring, at 200°C for 15-20 mins or until golden and crisp 4. Heat up a large frying pan on high until as hot as possible. Add lard or high heat cooking oil before adding steak, spreading out as flat as you can. Generously season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes, getting some deep colour on the meat. 5. HEALTHY FRENCH FRIES 🍟😋 These fries are SO crispy and delicious, you won’t even know that they are healthier for you! We have been having these as our dinner side multiple times a week, they are sooo good and easy to make! You can adjust the recipe depending on how many people you want to feed - just lightly coat the fries in olive oil and add a big pinch of salt and they turn out perfect! Ingredients: - 4 russet potatoes - 1 tbsp olive oil - 1 tsp sea salt How to: - Wash and dry the potatoes. - Slice into even fry shapes about 1/2 inch thick. - Add to a big bowl of ice water and let soak for about 10 minutes, then rinse under cold water until the water runs clear. This removes the starch and makes the fries so much crispier! - Pat the fries completely dry with a clean towel. - Add to a bowl and toss in olive oil and sea salt. - Add to your air fryer and air fry at 400F for 25-30 minutes, shaking every 5-10 minutes until they are deep golden and crispy. - TIP: If you want to make a lot of fries but don’t want to overcrowd your air fryer, air fry half of them, then set aside on a plate and air fry the other half. Day 19/20- Nacho Loaded Fries 🍟 Ingredients: - 1/2 avocado - 150g Beef mince - 1/2 red onion - 2 tbsp Sour cream - 50g Mozzarella - 1/2 packet Taco seasoning - 2 potato’s - 2 tsp paprika - 1 tsp Onion powder - 1 tbsp Olive oil - 1 tsp Garlic powder 1. Wash, peel and slice two brushed potato’s into fries then place into a bowl with half the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder and olive oil. Leave in the fridge for 15-20 minutes or place straight into an air fryer basket and cook for 15-20 minutes @ 200°C, tossing occasionally 2. In a bowl combine avocado, the juice of one lime and a good pinch of salt. Mash with a fork then add diced tomato and red onion. 3. Heat a frying pan on medium and add a little olive oil. Add beef mince, and gently season with salt. Once the beef mince is cooked through season with the remaining paprika, onion powder, garlic powder and 1/4 of a packet of taco seasoning. Stir to combine and sprinkle mozzarella on top, taking off the heat and allowing to melt. 4. Once fries are fully cooked and crispy, take out of air fryer, add to a bowl and season with salt and 1/4 packet taco seasoning, tossing to evenly coat. 5.
