Christmas Breakfast Casserole! 🎄 Simple, delicious, and the perfect thing to make for a big group. Happy Holidays! - 1/2 yellow onion, diced - 1/2 red bell pepper, diced - 5-6 cloves garlic, to taste - 1 lb breakfast sausage - Salt and pepper, to taste - 1.5 tsp mustard powder - 1 tsp red pepper flakes - 8 eggs - 2 cups milk - 12 oz can Grands! Crescent Rolls, ripped - 8 oz cheddar cheese, shredded 1. Grease a 9x13” baking dish. 2. In a pan, heat a tbsp of olive oil over medium heat. Add in your onion, bell pepper, and a pinch of salt. Cook for about 4-5 minutes. 3. Add in your sausage and break apart with a wooden spoon or meat masher. Season with salt, pepper, red pepper, and 1/2 tsp mustard powder. Cook until no longer pink. Add in your garlic and cook for another minute. Set aside. 4. In a large mixing bowl, scramble your eggs. Pour in your milk followed by salt, pepper, and a tsp of mustard powder. Stir until combined. 5. To your baking dish, add in your torn crescent rolls followed by your meat mixture. Top with half of your shredded cheese then pour over your egg mixture. Top with the remaining cheese. 6. Cover and refrigerate overnight. 7. Bake, covered at 350F for about an hour. Uncover and bake for another 20-30 minutes.
