SINIGANG NA BANGUS SA BAYABAS Makes 4 servings 3 cups WATER or HUGAS BIGAS (rice washing) 750 ml 1 pc ONION,quartered 40 g 1 pc TOMATO,quartered 60 g 1 pc DAIKON (radish),sliced 45 g 1 pc MAMA SITA’S SINIGANG SA BAYABAS MIX 40g 1 pc BANGUS (milkfish) or TROUT, scaled, cleaned and sliced diagonally 500 g 2 cups SITAW (long green beans), cut into 2” lengths 200 g 2 pcs LONG GREEN PEPPER 20 g 2 cups TALBOS NG KAMOTE or KANGKONG, remove the leaves 100 g PATIS (fish sauce) to taste 1 Boil 3 cups water. Add onions, tomatoes, radish and Mama Sita’s Sinigang sa Bayabas Mix and stir to dissolve. Simmer. 2 Add fish. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer for 10 minutes. 3 Add long green beans and long green pepper, continue cooking until done. 4 Add the talbos ng kamote or kangkong.
