Pork Steak Makes 5 Servings. 5 pcs Pork chop,cut into 1/2 inch thick 500 g 3/4 cup Mama Sita’s Toyo & Kalamansi 170 mL 1/4 cup Cooking oil (for frying pork) 60 mL 1 cup Water 250 mL 1/2 tsp White sugar 1/8 tsp Ground black pepper 2 pcs White onion, peeled and cut into 1/4 inch thick rings 120 g 1 tbsp Oil 15 mL Marinate Porkchops in Mama Sita’s Toyo & Kalamansi for 15 minutes. Drain and Save the marinade. Heat oil in a frying pan. Pan-fry marinated porkchops until seared on both sides. Pour in the remaining marinade and water .Cover and cook over medium heat until it starts to boil.Simmer until the pork is tender. In another pan,heat oil and sear the onions until slightly brown on both sides. Add the seared onions to the meat.Continue cooking for another 5 minutes until sauce thickens. Remove from heat.
