because we have bigger problems in life to solve, recipes should always be simple & fun to cook 👩🍳 i don't know how else to convince you but - the chicken essence diffusing into the rice as part of the sauce makes it so homey & delish! pair it with some cucumbers and you'll have a balanced meal 🥘 introducing my four quartet >>> aka must have in the kitchen: - 1 tsp soy sauce - 1 tsp sweet soy sauce (can sub with dark soy sauce/soy sauce + sugar!) - 1 tsp oyster sauce - 1 tsp rice vinegar and this time it's to create my ginger soy garlic chicken rice! steps: 1. chop half a bulb of garlic 🧄 w the same amount of ginger 2. stir fry half portion of the garlic ginger you've just chopped with the four quartets & add 1.5 cups rice. continue to stir fry. 3. transfer to rice cooker & add 1.5 cups water 4. now make the sauce the same way, just adding bird eye chilli 🌶 (game changer!!!) 5. spread the sauce on top of the chicken skin side up into the rice cooker & cook. once done, remove the bone, mix everything together & enjoy 🫶🏻 #ricecookerdish #onepotrice #onepotmeals #ricecookerrecipe #chickenrice #protein #wholesomeweeknightdinners #under18mins #18mindinners #asiancooking #chinesemeals #heartymeals #balanceddiet #chicken #gingersoygarlic #soygarlicchicken
