Don't get Injured. Trust me. So apply these 3 tips to stay healthy and injury free: 1.) Why you’re getting injured. Injury likely happens in the gym not from lifting heavy weights. Lifting heavy is good, you need to challenge yourself to grow. Instead, it happens when your form breaks down. Oftentimes we think we have great form but as you train harder, your form might give out because you’re too focused on lifting the heavy weight. 2.) Mobility stretches. Most of my injuries came from either bad form or lacking mobility. For example, when I got checked up for my knee injury, I found out it was due to having poor hip mobility on my squats. So I actively practice mobility stretches to allow me to be comfortable in certain positions with heavy weights. 3.)proper warm-ups. I used to go straight to the gym floor whenever I went to the gym. Not anymore. Now I always warm up properly. Use a combination of dynamic stretches and if necessary, some very short static stretches.
