🧊In my freezing era🧊 While it was my first time freezing the tuxedo cake, i freeze our leftovers all the time for quick & easy meals or snacks. I find that the more I can organize and prepare beforehand the more time I save (and the less stressed I am!) I grabbed one of those cold costco rotisserie chickens today for $5.99, took all the meat off and froze it so that i can turn it into enchiladas later this week or next. I also froze some sauage penne that we made over the weekend so that we have backup school lunches for our kids in the coming weeks. I get a lot of questions about how we organize our freezers and the truth is that i don’t really have any kind of structured system. But i do try to shop from my freezer before going to the store and I also look through it to asses what we have every other week or so. Do you put an expiration date on your tupperware? This little organizing hack can be used on any category of stuff that you’re having a hard time decluttering. Can’t let go of those clothes that don’t fit, old cds or dvds, books, etc? Try boxing it up, putting it out of sight and add a (reasonable) expiration date to it. If you don’t reach for it or need it within that time frame it’s time to say goodbye for good! I almost always put an expiration date on food containers after I organize them, as sometimes the missing lid or bottom will turn up.
