Day 2 post C section. I was so thankful that my doctor discharge me early. I did not want to spend another night in the hospital…I was ready to sleep in my own bed and eat some good food! Day 2 was a lot more painful probably because the heavy meds were wearing off. Getting up and walking around seemed like more of a challenge and hurt pretty bad. They say you’re supposed to get up and start moving around as soon as possible after C-section because it’s really good for recovery. I pushed through and did some walking but I was definitely feeling it😩 I am so thankful for my family that all showed up to welcome us home. My mom had the house decorated and stocked with food. I am beyond blessed for the support team I have and will forever be grateful. Around 10 weeks pregnant I checked into the ER on a friday night and the doctor told me the ultrasound confirmed there was no baby in my belly. That following monday I had blood work done at my OBGYN and they told me my HCG levels were back to normal. About 4 weeks later I went to a walk in clinic thinking I had the flu and they told me I was pregnant. I remember telling them there was absolutely no way. I went to my OB the same day to have more test done and a ultrasound showing a healthy baby that I had never lost. I remember the ultrasound tech saying “you never lost that baby”. At 38 weeks pregnant Jasper was born by emergency c section. The next day he passed away in the comfort of my arms and on my chest due to complications from a car accident. I got to spend 9 months growing my sweet angel. It was an honor to spend more time with you then I thought I had. Your big brother and mommy loves you. We miss you and talk about you often. We tell everyone about you and have your pictures everywhere.
