The "secret" to how I grew my arms👇 My arms have grown more from doing less. I’ve been getting told that my arms are a big strongpoint in my physique. But it’s funny because my arms barely grew the first 2 years of working out and were always a weakpoint. So what changed? I used to do 3 tricep exercises: rope pushdowns, straight bar pushdowns, and skull crushers. I also did 3 bicep exercises: ez bar curls, hammer curls, and cable curls. For all exercises I did 3-4 sets and 8-12 reps. Now I only do 3 exercises total: tricep rope pushdowns, standing bicep curls, and hammer curls with each being only 1-3 sets and 6-10 reps. It’s nearly a third of the volume, but instead my intensity has gone up. Each set looks like this, and is taken to failure. Each rep has intent and controlled eccentrics and powerful concentrics. After doing just 1-3 sets of each, there is no way I can physically push myself more because I’m completely tapped out. I credit efficient and intense training to blowing up my arms over anything else. If you’re not seeing much growth in your arms, try playing around with how much volume you have.
