#Ad I’m delighted to share the terrarium I’ve made, based on the Fijian island in the new series, 'The Castaways', which is based on the bestselling novel by Lucy Clarke, and is now available to watch on Paramount+. For the container, I’ve used a long fish tank filled with a terrarium substrate arranged on a gradient. To this, I added a layer of white sand to replicate the beach. For the water, I mixed epoxy resin with a single drop of blue acrylic paint, gave it a good stir, and filled the open space at the front of the terrarium. I chose to use epoxy resin because real water would require tech or lots of plants to keep it clean, which would have ruined the overall aesthetic. I used one plant in this terrarium; Biophytum sensitivum, a tropical species native to Southeast Asia, resembling a tiny palm tree. I densely planted this across the back to mimic the palm forest on the island. The plane crash model and figurines, 3D printed and painted by my friend Haydn, finish off the terrarium perfectly. I can't wait to finish binging this series! #TheCastaways #terrarium #worcesterterrariums @Paramount+ UK & Ireland @Paramount Plus
