More info!👇 Springtails & terrariums go hand in hand perfectly! The springtails eat any mould or decay matter that could be harmful to the fine balance of the terrarium, & in return the plants/moss produce sufficient oxygen for them to survive. ‘Wont they overpopulate the terrarium!?’ Nope! Springtails self regulate their population depending on available food. An abundance of food(decaying matter/mould) will cause a population increase as the springtails will increase numbers to consume the food. When food is scarce, springtails remain, but in lower numbers. They are truly the perfect terrarium pet! To learn more about terrarium making check out my Ebook!
