Every first time mom and breastfeeding mama needs this PSA!! Disclaimer the demonstrations are simply to share average feeds and a visual representation of the amount that it can take to fill our babies up. Again AVERAGE. Some babies may eat more some eat less. And some cluster feed while others feed at text book timings. This is mainly to show that YOU DO NOT need an oversupply to feed your baby! Glorifying oversupply impacts other people’s journeys who are making enough for their baby and feel like they need to supplement or replace. Not that there is ANYTHING wrong with supplementation or formula fed babies. FED IS BEST, always! Just a gentle reminder to my breastfeeding mama’s that us oversuppliers dont get an extra reward or gold star for making more milk. If you make enough, that IS enough! If baby is gaining weight, has enough wet and dirty diapers, draining breasts, has a good latch, is sleeping ok, calm and seemingly satisfied during and after feeds, eating every 1-3 hours in the first 2 months, etc. they are most likely getting enough milk. Please work with a lactation specialist and your child’s pediatrician if you have any questions and need support! Everyone’s journey is different, but I hope sharing this gives some people out there a little more confidence in their bodies! #breastfeeding #breastfeedingjourney #breastfedbabyprobs #lactationhelp #lactationeducation #newborn #fyp #foryoupage #newbornlife #pumpingmama #breastfedbabieslike #fedisbest #baggingmilk #oversupply
