Mix until smooth, slightly thinner than pancake batter. 3. Dip the marinated chicken pieces into the batter until fully coated. 4. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry the chicken for 6-7 minutes until lightly golden. Drain and set aside. 5. Increase the oil temperature to 400°F (200°C) and fry the chicken again for 3 minutes until extra crispy. Drain on a wire rack. 6. In a pan, sauté minced garlic. Add soy sauce, honey, and water, bringing to a boil. Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened. 7. This has to be one of the best dishes of all time 😂 Ingredients: Rice: 1 cup cooked rice 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar ½ tsp sugar ¼ tsp salt Salmon Topping: 4 oz fresh salmon, finely minced 1 tbsp mayo 1 tsp sriracha 1 tsp sesame oil ¼ tsp salt Optional Garnish: spicy mayo, eel sauce, sesame seeds, jalapeños Instructions: 1. In a bowl, mix rice wine vinegar, sugar, and salt. 2. Pour the mixture over the cooked rice and gently fold to combine. 3. Line a square container with plastic wrap and firmly press the rice into the mold. Place in the freezer for 1 hour. 4. Finely mince the salmon and mix with mayo, sriracha, sesame oil, and salt. 5. Remove the rice from the freezer and cut into 1-inch squares. 6. Heat a pan over high heat and sear the rice cubes, flipping constantly until golden brown on all sides. Rest on a wire rack. 7. Spoon the salmon mixture onto the crispy rice and optionally garnish with spicy mayo, eel sauce, sesame seeds, and jalapeños.

Ingredients: 2 boneless chicken thighs, cut into ¼-inch chunks 1 small onion, minced 2 cloves garlic, minced 1-inch piece of ginger, sliced 1 tbsp dark soy sauce 1 tbsp light soy sauce ½ tsp five-spice powder 1 can Coca-Cola Optional Garnish: soft-boiled egg, steamed greens Instructions: 1. Finely mince the onion and garlic, slice the ginger, and cut the chicken thighs into ¼-inch chunks. 2. Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the onions and garlic for 2 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside. 3. Add the chicken and ginger to the pan, cooking until the chicken is browned on all sides, about 3 minutes. 4. Pour in dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, five-spice powder, Coca-Cola, and the cooked onions and garlic. Bring the mixture to a boil. 5. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer for 5 minutes.
