I wholeheartedly believe in the power of décor and how it can completely transform a room. As you all know, I love to style and restyle my home. Case in point, these open shelves or “cubbies” as I like to call them in my Amagansett home. I decided to clear them out and rework the vignette both as a design exercise and an excuse to play with some new terracotta ceramic pieces I picked up. You’ll see how I shift pieces around, switching and swapping, then stepping back to assess the arrangement, before returning to make further adjustments and tweaks. I love to work intuitively like this, allowing the final styling to present itself to me.
