2 days late but oh well…still a good recipe 😄🤩 It looks like the Matilda cake and has such a fudgy and delicious texture 🤩 Chocolate cake Matilda 1 3/4 cup flour 3/4 cup cocoa 2 tsp baking soda 1 tsp baking powder 2 cups sugar 1 cup buttermilk (made my own using 1 cup milk and 1 tblsp vinegar and put in the microwave for 20 seconds) 1/2 cup oil 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla essence 1/2 cup strong coffee Sift the dry ingredients into a bowl, mix on low speed. Slowly pour in the wet ingredients. Then pour in the coffee and mix till combined. Bake at 180 degrees for 30-40min till cooked, and a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 15min and then remove from pan onto a wrack until completely cooled. Ganache 150g milk chocolate 4 tbsp Nutella 150ml dessert cream Melt together in microwave at 10 seconds at a time, mix and keep heating until fully melted. Whisk together and adjust cream to get a nice ganache texture.
