Mac & Cheese! This is one of Sam’s favourites 🥰 Ingredients: 100g butter (I use unsalted) 1/2 cup flour 3 cups milk 1 pkt Macaroni noodles 1 tbspn stock powder (I use Vegeta) 1 tbspn garlic powder 1 tbspn onion powder 3 cups cheese (I used pizza cheese mix) 1/2 cup pasta water Breadcrumb topping: 1 cup panko breadcrumbs 1 tbspn butter Salt & pepper Method: Bring a pot of water to the boil & cook pasta Pre-heat oven to 190 degrees Celsius Melt your tbspn of butter & add to crumbs Season with salt & pepper, set aside In a separate pot, melt butter Add flour & mix to make a roux Add 1 cup of milk & stir Slowly add the other 2 cups of milk Continue to whisk/stir until smooth Add in your seasonings The mix will start to thicken Add in your cheese & stir through Add in pasta water Drain your pasta & add pasta to sauce Once it’s all combined, add to baking dish Cover with your prepared breadcrumb mix Bake for 20-25 minutes Garnish with parsley (optional) and serve #MacAndCheese #Homemade #Dinner #SideDish #WinterWarmerMeals
