From Scratch ep 22: BLOOMER LOAF 🍞 Super simple yet SUPER EFFECTIVE & DELICIOUS 🔥 1. Mix 500g bread flour (plain will work), 310g warm water, 45g olive oil, 7g instant yeast, 8g salt 2. Mix and then tip out onto a floured work surface & knead for 10 mins until you have a smooth ball 3. Oil up your bowl, add you dough ball, cover and leave for an hour whilst it doubles in size 4. Punch out the air, knead for a minute or so and then shape into an oval shape and add to an oiled up baking tray 5. Sprinkle over flour and cover with a tea towel and leave for another hour to double in size 6. Add a tray with water to the bottom of your oven at around 200 degrees C 7. Then add your bread once your oven is pre heated & go for about 20 mins agter you’ve sprayed the oven with water 8. Flip it around and add back for 10-20 mins depending on your desired colour! 9.
