Locally produced Non GMO Bulk Feed ❤️🐓🐐 • On today’s episode we talk run of the mill, sack feed from the local farm store vs. local family owned, @texasridge regenerative farm produced, bulk multi species feed! We’ve had this transition to buy local on our goals list for a couple years now! The only thing stopping us was a good safe way to store 1000lbs of feed! But after visiting with our rural neighbors @cresscrossacres we learned that they keep their bulk feed in 55 gallon drums! What a good feeling to be feeding locally produced, non GMO, no corn, no soy feed to our chickens and goats! And that is only the half of it! No more running to feed store last minute, wasting fuel and time to get one of the two types of feed we use.. because god knows you always run out of one before the other.. We get to support our local rural farm neighbors in the process! This is what the evolution of the modern homestead looks and feels like! You get to help others while improving your efficiencies and making healthier choices for you, your farm and your health! Loving life! • It’s better to be a warrior in a garden than to be a gardener in a war. 🌱🥷 • #modern #rural #civilian #selfsufficient #off-grid #sustainableliving #rootcellar #switch-grid #strawbale #foodprodution #foodpreservation #beekeeping #rampump #homestead #waterislife #bushcraft #fatwood #apothecary #preparedness #precisionshooting #fish #overland #community #hunt #forage #icebath #modernruralcivilian
