Very close to home this one & different content to my usual. I wanted to do something special for someone very close to me. If you know Fearghas he’s been through a lot pre and post accident & I have been there since the start. We first met when he moved to Plymouth and joined my primary school, both then scraped our way into a grammar school together & have stayed close ever since. Naturally you gain new friends and move further apart as you grow older, which has definitely happened but Fearghas accident hit me emotionally and still does now to (nothing compared to what he has and is still going through) but it was a massive reminder that life is too short and you never know what is around the corner. The way he has dealt with this literally since it has happened until now is unbelievable because I know I couldn’t have done it. Fearg fell nearly 60ft from a tree while at work breaking his back in several places, neck, tearing and dislocating his arm in several places amongst other things. He was told almost straight away he’s almost certainly never going to walk again. After 6 months in hospital he finally was allowed home around Christmas to start what is pretty much a whole new way of life for him. This week is his first time on a train, first time flying & first holiday since. A whole lot of firsts, which I’m so happy I can join him on. The whole idea around it was while he was in hospital talking about now being in a wheelchair he’ll get his teeth done to make something about his appearance better (which he’s always wanted to do) so I said I’d get it done for him - the least I could do for my oldest friend. Thank you to @Vera Smile Dental Clinic for helping to make it happen! Excited to see the final result, keep an eye on my page for the transformation
