Calories dont account for the micronutrient content. Micronutrient dense food = you have so much more energy so youre naturally just bouncing off the walls with energy and unconciously burning more calories without effort. You also dont want to snack and arent constantly on the verge of binging from feeling starved or deprived. I dont track my calories anymore and eat intuitively and maintain my dream body with no effort.
