Taking action on your goals is misunderstood. The experience of attempting it is much harder than it appears on paper. after all "Just do it" right? The experience is hard because we are directly going up against our brains core wiring. And it's much worse if you are new to making a big change. Your brain does not want to change because it's a threat to safety and it doesn't know any other way. It holds you in familiar patterns to keep you out of harms way. Of course, your goal is likely to take you to a better place but in the short term your brain struggles to understand that. Accept how it makes you feel and use that information to help create strategies to work with it instead.
