I always mention that one of my main focuses when it comes to eating is getting a good amount of protein and fiber. I focus on protein intake to help with muscle recovery/building & making meals more filling. I also focus on fiber to make meals more filling & to help with my digestion (especially with a high protein diet). I went through and looked at which foods I eat most that are high in protein & fiber and these are just a handful! A lot of these foods are the first ingredients I start with when I’m making meals because I want to prioritize eating them throughout the day! A lot of high fiber/protein foods are also zero point foods on WW and that’s why I like to make my base with them and then add the extra ingredients after. High fiber foods: Apples Artichokes Corn Black beans Popcorn Berries Almonds Bananas Pinto beans Whole grain bread High fiber tortillas (like la banderita & xtreme wellness) Sweet potato Hearts of palm High protein foods: Chicken Shrimp Salmon Edamame Nut butters Protein pasta Chicken sausage Fat free milk Eggs Greek yogurt Tuna Ground turkey Protein powder/shakes #highprotein #highfiber #weightwatchers #ww #wellnessjourney #weightlosstips #weightlossfood
