HALLWAY - one of my favourite transformation. Previously the hallway was dark, grotty and so uninviting. STEP INTO MY OFFICE ☺️ The bay window in the master bedroom sat empty for a long time. While I usually WFH at my workstation in the dining room, thought it’d be nice to have a secondary workspace for a change of scenery, plus the bay window offers plenty of natural light and overlooks a very quiet road. There’s ample light which I feel is great for internal body clock and productivity. Most firms here in London have switched to a hybrid model set up post Covid, and it’s become the norm. Most do TWT (Twit or tw*t) Tuesday, Wed and Thurs or 2 + 3. DREAMS ✨ Before, during and after of the master bedroom. When I bought this fixer upper the amount of hate I got was unbelievable! Everyone didn’t understand why I bought a neglected house that needed a lot of work. I thought I’d found a gem! It was the worst house in the perfect location. It was well below market value, making tge investment worthwhile. The entire room was covered in nicotine stains and smoke. The builders literally ripped everything out to start anew. The room underwent a full rewire from top to bottom, new coving, doors, skirting, architraves, panelling, carpets etc. It’s unrecognisable now. It was a labour-intensive process, but with each new addition, the room began to take shape into the vision I had in mind. Now, the master bedroom is unrecognisable. The reno has also significantly increased the value of the house. What was once slated as a foolish investment is now seen as a wise decision.
