My biggest regret of 2023 was not being able to make it back on this hike to Neon Canyon in Utah. It's so incredibly fun and possibly my favorite hike - definitely, top 3. There's lots to climb, river crossings, petroglyphs, beautiful cottonwood trees, canyons to explore, arches to see, rivers to follow, things to find and it ends at this beautiful spot with a window called the Golden Cathedral. Kobawulf and I hung out there for well over an hour after making the long hike and we never saw a soul. I was going to organize a group hike here a few months ago, but never followed through cause I didn't really know the best way to do it. Well, in 2024 I'm gonna change that. I'm thinking a group of 8 and having a $20 spot reservation fee so people don't just take a spot without having any intention to follow through. Any photographers or videographers would be a lot of help to get some cool content. I'm thinking of some time in the spring or ideally, the fall. It's called Neon Canyon for a reason. The like, I wanna say, is around 12 miles out-and-back. There's places to camp in Egypt Canyon before it branches into Neon Canyon. Can you guys see Koba's outline in the lighting or is that just me? I thought that was pretty cool to see - like we were meant to be there. #grouphike #solohiking #utah #utahhiking #bergerpicard #adventure #exploreutah #thegreatoutdoors #arch #arches #nativeamerican
