Yogurt offers many positive health and nutrition benefits… Including protein, fat, and probiotics, as well as other micronutrients like calcium and vitamin B12… and sometimes fiber if it’s been added. So, what are we looking for in a yogurt that’s going to promote stable blood sugars? There’s always room for flexibility, but generally I’m looking for the following : <15g carb <12g sugar <5g added sugar 10+ g protein And we have so many options to choose from these days from regular yogurt, to Greek yogurt, to yogurt drinks, and even these newer ultra filtered yogurts. What I especially love about these ultra filtered yogurts is the production process reduces naturally occurring sugar and increases protein (more so than Greek yogurt or regular yogurt) Want more info and brand recommendations?
