Christmas “Takoyaki” 🎄🐙 I thought of making a holiday themed Takoyaki using Christmas ham instead of octopus and with cheese inside! 😋 It came out really delicious but I enjoyed making it even more with my bestest foodie creator friends ! This can be a really fun bonding experience with friends since you can literally stuff these balls with whatever you have. You can be as creative as you want! 🔥 Merry Christmas everyone!! I Hope you guys have the best holidays ever! 🫶🎄🎅 INGREDIENTS: Takoyaki batter: - 200g takoyaki flour - 500ml water - 1 tbsp dashi powder - egg Filling: - Cooked Christmas ham, cubed - Mozzarella Cheese, cubed - Onion leeks, sliced - Tenkasu (Tempura bits) Other ingredients: - Butter - Aonori powder - Japanese mayo - Takoyaki Sauce - Togarashi powder - Edam cheese, grated Instructions: - Combine all ingredients listed under Takoyaki batter and mix well. Set aside in a container/pourer for easy dispensing - In your takoyaki pan on medium heat - add enough butter to coat the pan and add in your Takoyaki batter filling it 3/4 of the way through. - Add in all your fillings and once slightly set turn the balls on its side to make space for more batter. - Add more batter to fill in the pan and let cook for around 1 min before rotating to form the ball. - Once Takoyaki is formed, you can drizzle in extra oil to make the outside crispier. - Serve with Takoyaki sauce, Japanese mayo, aonori powder, togarashi, edam cheese and enjoy!! #christmasfood #christmascooking #japanesecuisine #japanesefood #christmasfoodideas #asmr #cookingasmr #takoyaki
