Recipe 2-4 chicken breasts 1 tsp each of salt, pepper, paprika 1 TBSP ranch dressing seasoning 1 TBSP minced garlic 1 TBSP vinegar BBQ Sauce (I usually use Sweet Baby Ray’s) 1 12 pack of King’s Hawaiian Sliders Sliced Colby Jack Cheese Shredded Cheddar Cheese 6 strips cooked bacon 4 TBSP of butter 1 TBSP of Ranch Seasoning Steps -Spray a crockpot with cooking spray. -Add chicken, minced garlic, vinegar, and all the seasonings to a crockpot. -Add some BBQ sauce on top. I don’t use exact measurements for this part. I usually just do enough to cover the chicken, but you can really use as much as you’d like. -Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours. -Shred the chicken, stir well, and add a little bit more BBQ sauce if needed. -Slice King’s Hawaiian rolls in half and add sliced Colby Jack cheese. -Top the cheese with a layer of the shredded BBQ chicken. -Add shredded cheddar cheese on top of the chicken. -Add at least 6 strips of cooked bacon and place the tops of the rolls on top. -Add 1 TBSP of ranch seasoning to 4 TBSP of melted butter. Brush the melted butter/ranch seasoning all over the tops of the sliders. -Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Enjoy! These get a little messy, but they are delicious! I didn’t use all of the shredded bbq chicken for the sliders. Meliz Cooks Tavuk Döner: loads of questions about whether or not you can cook this in the air fryer after yesterday’s cook on @This Morning - this is my original marinade marinade (this one’s on my blog and cookbook, my original recipe), but the answer is yes! 🤩🙌🏼💕🧿 Ingredients 1 kg (2 lb 4 oz) skinless, boneless chicken thigh fillets 4 large wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes prior to cooking For the marinade: 3 tbsp thick set natural yoghurt 2 tbsp pomegranate molasses 2 tbsp Turkish sweet red pepper paste (tatli biber salçasi) 2 tbsp olive oil 1 tbsp clear honey 1 tsp dried oregano ½ tsp ground cumin ¾ tsp ground cinnamon ½ tsp pul biber ½ tsp paprika ½ tsp onion granules ½ tsp garlic granules ¾ tsp fine sea salt ¼ tsp coarse black pepper Mix the marinade ingredients together, add the chicken thighs, mix well, cover, and leave to marinate in the fridge for a minimum of 4 hours or preferably overnight. Skewer onto the water soaked sticks and cook in the air fryer at 180c for around 45-50 minutes, flipping halfway through, ensuring the chicken is cooked all the way through (the internal temperature of cooked chicken should be 75c). Serve loaded in pittas or flatbreads with garlic yoghurt, pickled cabbage, Ezme (the latter two recipes can be found in my cookbook), salad and fried chips. Super BBQ Chicken Sandwich Recipe -6 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Thighs -1# Smoked Sausage -¼ cup Killer Hogs Hot BBQ Rub -1 cup Killer Hogs The BBQ Sauce -1 pack Steak Rolls -8oz Cole Slaw -1/4 cup Blue Plate Mayo -Dill Pickle Slices -Thinly Sliced Onion 1.Preheat pellet grill or any other type grill/smoker to 300 degrees using indirect heat. 2.Trim excess fat from boneless, skinless thighs and season with Killer Hogs Hot Rub on all sides. 3.Place the seasoned thighs on a wire baking rack and into the grill. 4.Slice the smoked sausages into 2” long pieces and butterfly each piece so that it lays flat. Place the smoked sausages on a baking rack cut side up and season with Hot Rub. 5. Place the smoked sausages on the pit for about 20 minutes. 6. Pour The BBQ Sauce into a small aluminum pan and place on the grill beside the thighs. 7.Once the thighs hit 165 internal, dip each thigh into the warm bbq sauce and place back on the baking rack to glaze. Continue to cook until the internal temperature reaches 175 degrees. 8.To build the chicken sandwich: Toast the steak rolls and spread mayo on the bottom half of each roll. Top with dill pickle slices and thinly sliced onion. Add 2 chicken thighs to each roll along with a piece of smoked sausage over eac h thigh. Top with cole slaw and the top half of the roll.
