Day 12 of 31 Days of Yoga🧘🏾♀️ When I first began yoga, I did it off and on for 2 years before I created a schedule or commitment. I was not ready to surrender to the emptiness that was ringing in my soul when I was alone on the mat. But bit by bit, day by day I found myself coming back to the mat, wanting to learn more about me. Wanting to be so familiar with myself that no one could ever come between me and myself again. I share this because if you are having difficulty with the practice of yoga or any mindfulness practice, this might resonate. You may be so used to placing many things in between you and yourself. It could be your job, your relationships, money, beliefs or anything that blocks you from being yourself. It is a journey to recover ourselves from the world. Many are lost, but many hear the call and are waking up. May you hear the call of your soul and may it lead you home. Happy #thankfultuesday lovers.
