Have you been wanting to try watercolor but you feel overwhelmed? You're in the right place! This month I am going to be going over the basics of watercolor, encouraging you to experiment, and sharing my favorite beginner watercolor tutorials! Sometimes the hardest part about learning art is just getting started. This exercise is great to get you over your fear of messing up, because this one is super easy, super fun, and it will just give you a feel for your paints and brush, which is always the first step. The first thing you paint, doesn't have to be a masterpiece, so just relax and go with the flow with this exercise! You could even do this one a few different times with different palettes, sizes of brush strokes, and spacing variations! In this video I am painting on Canson XL paper, with a size 4 quill brush that I sell, and also my old version of my Unicorn Food Palette watercolors. This version isn't available anymore, but I have several sets I have half used, so I am trying to pull this out occasionally so it doesn't go to waste because I still love it! #worldwatercolormonth #watercolor #easyart #funart #learnwatercolor #easywatercolor #swatchingwatercolors #howtopaintwatercolors
