Marry Me Chicken Pasta Ingredients * 4 skin on chicken thighs * Salt and pepper to taste * 2 tbsp olive oil * 2 tbsp unsalted butter * 1 small onion(minced) * 4 cloves garlic(minced) * 3 tbsp tomato paste * 2 tbsp gochujang * 1/4 cup white wine * 1 cup chicken stock * 1+1/4 cup heavy cream * 1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes with oil(chopped) * 1 tbsp gochugaru * 1 tsp oregano * Zest of 1 lemon+1 tbsptbsp lemon juice * 5 basil leaves(thinly sliced) * 3/4 lbs pasta * 1/4 cup pasta water * 1/2 cup parmesano reggiano(grated) Instructions 1. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides. Add the chicken to a cold pan and turn the heat to medium high. Once the chicken skin is golden brown(10-15 minutes), flip it over to cook for a minute on the other side. 2. Remove the chicken and in the same pan add olive oil and butter to saute onions and garlic for a few minutes until translucent. 3. Add tomato paste and gochujang and cook for a few minutes until it turns a deep red color. 4. Deglaze with white wine and once the alcohol has mostly evaporated, go in with chicken stock. 5. Bring to a simmer before adding in heavy cream then add sun-dried tomatoes, gochugaru, oregano, lemon zest and juice, and basil. 6. Once the sauce has thickened, season with salt and pepper and add back the chicken thighs skin side up with the heat turned to low. 7. While thats simmering, boil your favorite pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. 8. Remove the chicken thighs and add the pasta pouring in pasta water as necessary. 9. These Almost One Pan Creamy Chicken and Noodles won’t disappoint! Recipe 1 cup chopped carrots 1 cup chopped celery 1 small diced onion Salt, pepper, garlic powder 4 tbsp butter 3 tbsp flour 1 tbsp minced garlic 2 cups chicken broth 1/2 tsp each of salt, pepper, oregano, and thyme 1 tsp each of paprika, onion powder, garlic powder 1 lb chicken breasts 12 ounces of Egg Noodles Steps Cut chicken breasts in half lengthwise to make them thinner. Season the chicken with some salt, pepper, and garlic powder (I don’t use exact measurements for this part). Next, get your skillet over medium heat and add in 3 Tablespoons of butter and your chopped veggies. Once those start to soften up add in 1 more Tablespoon of butter along with 3 Tablespoons of flour stirring it all together to form a roux. Add in the minced garlic and 2 cups of chicken broth and stir well. Season with salt, pepper, oregano, thyme, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder. Stir well and when it starts bubbling add the chicken to the skillet and boil your egg noodles. Make sure the chicken is covered in the gravy, cover with a lid, and turn the heat down to medium low. Let this cook for 12-15 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temp of 165 degrees. My chicken was ready in 12 minutes, but they were pretty thin. To finish up just shred the chicken with a couple of forks and stir in the cooked egg noodles! Enjoy! Crockpot Marry Me Chicken Spaghetti🔥 INGREDIENTS 1 lb chicken breasts 1/2 tsp each of salt, pepper, oregano, and thyme 1 tsp paprika 1/4 tsp of red pepper flakes 1 TBSP of minced garlic 1/3 cup of chopped sun dried tomatoes 2 15 oz jars Alfredo sauce 1 lb spaghetti 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese 1 cup mozzarella cheese INSTRUCTIONS Add chicken breasts, salt, pepper, oregano, thyme, paprika, red pepper flakes, minced garlic, and chopped sun dried tomatoes to a large crockpot. Cover the chicken in two jars of Alfredo sauce. Cook on low for 4-6 hours. Cook 1 lb of spaghetti according to the directions on the box. Once chicken is fully cooked cut the chicken into cubes or shred it. Add the chicken back to the crockpot. Add cooked spaghetti, 1 cup of mozzarella, and 1/4 cup of shredded Parmesan cheese. This is made with the same batter as my dad’s orange chicken but because he didn’t serve it at his restaurants, this is my version of general tso’s with a good ole Papa Tea twist! ➡️ Recipe: Crispy General Tso’s Chicken Batter— * 1lb chicken thigh or breast, boneless, skinless cut into bite sized pieces * 3/4 cup cornstarch * 1/4 cup AP flour * 2/3 cup water * 1 tsp kosher salt * 1 tsp baking powder * 1/2 tsp garlic powder * 1/2 tsp ground white pepper Sauce— * 3 tbsp rice vinegar * 2 1/2 tbsp sugar * 2 tbsp hoisin sauce * 2 tbsp soy sauce * 1 1/2 tbsp Shao xing wine * 3-4 garlic cloves, grated or finely minced * 1/2 tsp ginger, freshly grated or use 1/4 tsp powder Slurry— * 1 tbsp cornstarch * 2 tbsp water * 5-8 dried Thai chilies (or whichever is preferred and depending on spice tolerance) or 1-2 tsp red pepper flakes * Frying oil * Optional for garnishing: toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions. 1. In a large bowl, marinade cut up chicken with cornstarch, AP flour, water, salt, baking powder, garlic powder, and white pepper. Marinate for at least 15 mins or 2 hours for best results. Overnight is even better. 2. In a small bowl, combine rice vinegar, sugar, hoisin sauce, Shao xing wine, garlic and ginger. Mix well and set aside. 3. Heat wok with enough oil to fry chicken to 350F. Fry battered chicken for 5-6 mins or until lightly golden. Fry in small batches. Strain. 4. Double fry chicken a second time for another 4-5 mins to ensure a golden color and for extra crunch. 5. Remove all but 1 tbsp of frying oil from wok. Heat oil and sauté dried chilies for 30 seconds. (Do not burn) 6. Pour in sauce and bring to a boil. Add slurry and the sauce with thicken up. 7. Add all of the fried chicken into the sauce. Toss until everything is evenly coated. 8. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and green onions. Slow Cooker Chicken Pot Pie    One of the BEST comfort food meals that never disappoints! I’m currently in a new kitchen and don’t have all my seasonings so I used a ranch packet which turned out so great! It saved me money from having to go out buy different seasonings. I like to create my recipes to be easy with fewer ingredients. Also, I used mixed baby potatoes because that’s what I had in my pantry but I recommend russet potatoes. Hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we did!         Ingredients:   3 boneless skinless chicken breasts   1 bag of russet potatoes, diced    1 cup of chicken broth   2 cans cream of chicken condensed soup (10.5 ounces each)    1 bag of frozen mixed vegetables (peas/corn/carrots)   1 can of refrigerated biscuits, baked   Cooking spray    1 ranch packet    S&P      Directions:   1. In your crockpot spray well. Add cream of chicken, diced potatoes, S&P, ranch packet, chicken broth, and chicken. Mix well. Set crockpot for high 4 hours or low 8 hours.    2. 30 mins before the crockpot is ready, shred your chicken and add frozen mixed vegetables.    3. For the biscuits, cut into fourths and place on a baking sheet. Follow the directions on the back of the can. Mine was 350 for 15 mins.    4. Once crockpot is done, add chicken pot pie mixture in a bowl and add biscuits on top. Easy Chicken & Cheese Taco Bell Style Quesadillas are an easy dinner that won’t disappoint! INGREDIENTS 1 lb chicken breast 2 TBSP of butter 1/2 tsp salt and pepper 1/4 tsp cayenne 2 tsp chili powder 1 tsp each of cumin, paprika, and dried cilantro Extra Grande burrito size flour tortillas Shredded cheddar cheese Taco Bell Creamy Chipotle sauce INSTRUCTIONS Cut chicken up into small pieces. Add 2 TBSP of butter to a skillet over medium high heat. Season with salt, cayenne, chili powder, cumin, paprika, dried cilantro, and black pepper (you could also just use a taco seasoning packet instead of these seasonings if you prefer that). Cook chicken until it reaches an internal temp of 165 degrees. Remove the chicken from the skillet and turn the heat down to medium. Lay out the tortillas and top with shredded cheese, chicken, and the Taco Bell sauce. Fold tortillas in half and cook until both sides are golden brown and crispy. Enjoy! CHICKEN THAT DOESNT SUCK. This is one of the best 1 pan chicken recipes you’ll make. The secret is the marinate that will elevate the chicken and the quick garlicky herb sauce is unbelievably good! I’m using bone-in skin-on chicken thighs to make the chicken more flavorful and juicy, but you can remove the skin if you prefer, too. I paired this with a simple salad, but it would be complete with some regular rice, quinoa, or if you’re doing lowcarb/keto, some of my lowcarb @kaizenfoodco rice. . This is how I made it (feel free to multiply for more) . 1.Grab 4 skin-on bone-in chicken thighs, dab them dry with a paper towel and add them to a bowl. . 2.For the marinade, grab a medium mixing bowl. Add 2 tbsp drizzle of olive oil, 2 tbsp tomato paste, 4 minced garlic cloves, the zest and juice of 1 large lemon, a couple generous pinches salt, pepper, 1 tbsp smoked paprika, 1 tbsp oregano or thyme, 1/4 to 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper. Mix it really well. . 3.Add the marinade to the chicken, and mix really well covering all sides. Let this ideally sit for 2 to 6 or ideally, overnight. . 4.Preheat oven to 410F. Remove chicken from fridge and let it come up to room temp before putting in the oven. . 5.Place chicken on a wire rack and put it in the oven at 410F for 35-40 mins. . 6.While thats going, make your sauce. I processed together 3 tablespoons of thick greek yogurt (or labneh), a handful of fresh mint (about 3 tablespoons), 2 scallions (green and white part), 1/2 large jalapeño, 1 tbsp olive oil, the juice of half a lemon, and a couple generous pinches of salt + pepper. Process well, taste, and adjust to your preference. . 7.Remove the chicken from the oven, plate it. Again, you can serve this with whatever base you like (it would be delicious with regular rice, quinoa, or if you’re lowcarb/keto my high protein kaizen rice), some salad of choice, and this sauce. . Marry Me Chicken Pasta Ingredients * 4 skin on chicken thighs * Salt and pepper to taste * 2 tbsp olive oil * 2 tbsp unsalted butter * 1 small onion(minced) * 4 cloves garlic(minced) * 3 tbsp tomato paste * 2 tbsp gochujang * 1/4 cup white wine * 1 cup chicken stock * 1+1/4 cup heavy cream * 1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes with oil(chopped) * 1 tbsp gochugaru * 1 tsp oregano * Zest of 1 lemon+1 tbsptbsp lemon juice * 5 basil leaves(thinly sliced) * 3/4 lbs pasta * 1/4 cup pasta water * 1/2 cup parmesano reggiano(grated) Instructions 1. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides. Add the chicken to a cold pan and turn the heat to medium high. Once the chicken skin is golden brown(10-15 minutes), flip it over to cook for a minute on the other side. 2. Remove the chicken and in the same pan add olive oil and butter to saute onions and garlic for a few minutes until translucent. 3. Add tomato paste and gochujang and cook for a few minutes until it turns a deep red color. 4. Deglaze with white wine and once the alcohol has mostly evaporated, go in with chicken stock. 5. Bring to a simmer before adding in heavy cream then add sun-dried tomatoes, gochugaru, oregano, lemon zest and juice, and basil. 6. Once the sauce has thickened, season with salt and pepper and add back the chicken thighs skin side up with the heat turned to low. 7. While thats simmering, boil your favorite pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. 8. Remove the chicken thighs and add the pasta pouring in pasta water as necessary. 9. Also the peach addition to my bruschetta recipe was unreal. Instructions: - get wrecked - add slapchopped garlic and parsley to butter and mash, spread on bread and bake at 375 for 7 mins before broiling. - make bruschetta by food processing tomatoes white peaches and garlic, straining, then adding slapchopped basil dried oregano crushed red pepper salt pepper sugar olive oil and plenty of balsamic glaze and mixing. - coat brined chicken breasts in spiced bread crumb/pecorino romano mixture -fry in 350 degree olive oil - add @jawndiments long hot mayo to garlic bread, then cutlets, then mozz. These Almost One Pan Creamy Chicken and Noodles won’t disappoint! Recipe 1 cup chopped carrots 1 cup chopped celery 1 small diced onion Salt, pepper, garlic powder 4 tbsp butter 3 tbsp flour 1 tbsp minced garlic 2 cups chicken broth 1/2 tsp each of salt, pepper, oregano, and thyme 1 tsp each of paprika, onion powder, garlic powder 1 lb chicken breasts 12 ounces of Egg Noodles Steps Cut chicken breasts in half lengthwise to make them thinner. Season the chicken with some salt, pepper, and garlic powder (I don’t use exact measurements for this part). Next, get your skillet over medium heat and add in 3 Tablespoons of butter and your chopped veggies. Once those start to soften up add in 1 more Tablespoon of butter along with 3 Tablespoons of flour stirring it all together to form a roux. Add in the minced garlic and 2 cups of chicken broth and stir well. Season with salt, pepper, oregano, thyme, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder. Stir well and when it starts bubbling add the chicken to the skillet and boil your egg noodles. Make sure the chicken is covered in the gravy, cover with a lid, and turn the heat down to medium low. Let this cook for 12-15 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temp of 165 degrees. My chicken was ready in 12 minutes, but they were pretty thin. To finish up just shred the chicken with a couple of forks and stir in the cooked egg noodles! Enjoy! Crockpot Marry Me Chicken Spaghetti🔥 INGREDIENTS 1 lb chicken breasts 1/2 tsp each of salt, pepper, oregano, and thyme 1 tsp paprika 1/4 tsp of red pepper flakes 1 TBSP of minced garlic 1/3 cup of chopped sun dried tomatoes 2 15 oz jars Alfredo sauce 1 lb spaghetti 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese 1 cup mozzarella cheese INSTRUCTIONS Add chicken breasts, salt, pepper, oregano, thyme, paprika, red pepper flakes, minced garlic, and chopped sun dried tomatoes to a large crockpot. Cover the chicken in two jars of Alfredo sauce. Cook on low for 4-6 hours. Cook 1 lb of spaghetti according to the directions on the box. Once chicken is fully cooked cut the chicken into cubes or shred it. Add the chicken back to the crockpot. Add cooked spaghetti, 1 cup of mozzarella, and 1/4 cup of shredded Parmesan cheese. This is made with the same batter as my dad’s orange chicken but because he didn’t serve it at his restaurants, this is my version of general tso’s with a good ole Papa Tea twist! ➡️ Recipe: Crispy General Tso’s Chicken Batter— * 1lb chicken thigh or breast, boneless, skinless cut into bite sized pieces * 3/4 cup cornstarch * 1/4 cup AP flour * 2/3 cup water * 1 tsp kosher salt * 1 tsp baking powder * 1/2 tsp garlic powder * 1/2 tsp ground white pepper Sauce— * 3 tbsp rice vinegar * 2 1/2 tbsp sugar * 2 tbsp hoisin sauce * 2 tbsp soy sauce * 1 1/2 tbsp Shao xing wine * 3-4 garlic cloves, grated or finely minced * 1/2 tsp ginger, freshly grated or use 1/4 tsp powder Slurry— * 1 tbsp cornstarch * 2 tbsp water * 5-8 dried Thai chilies (or whichever is preferred and depending on spice tolerance) or 1-2 tsp red pepper flakes * Frying oil * Optional for garnishing: toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions. 1. In a large bowl, marinade cut up chicken with cornstarch, AP flour, water, salt, baking powder, garlic powder, and white pepper. Marinate for at least 15 mins or 2 hours for best results. Overnight is even better. 2. In a small bowl, combine rice vinegar, sugar, hoisin sauce, Shao xing wine, garlic and ginger. Mix well and set aside. 3. Heat wok with enough oil to fry chicken to 350F. Fry battered chicken for 5-6 mins or until lightly golden. Fry in small batches. Strain. 4. Double fry chicken a second time for another 4-5 mins to ensure a golden color and for extra crunch. 5. Remove all but 1 tbsp of frying oil from wok. Heat oil and sauté dried chilies for 30 seconds. (Do not burn) 6. Pour in sauce and bring to a boil. Add slurry and the sauce with thicken up. 7. Add all of the fried chicken into the sauce. Toss until everything is evenly coated. 8. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and green onions. Slow Cooker Chicken Pot Pie    One of the BEST comfort food meals that never disappoints! I’m currently in a new kitchen and don’t have all my seasonings so I used a ranch packet which turned out so great! It saved me money from having to go out buy different seasonings. I like to create my recipes to be easy with fewer ingredients. Also, I used mixed baby potatoes because that’s what I had in my pantry but I recommend russet potatoes. Hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we did!         Ingredients:   3 boneless skinless chicken breasts   1 bag of russet potatoes, diced    1 cup of chicken broth   2 cans cream of chicken condensed soup (10.5 ounces each)    1 bag of frozen mixed vegetables (peas/corn/carrots)   1 can of refrigerated biscuits, baked   Cooking spray    1 ranch packet    S&P      Directions:   1. In your crockpot spray well. Add cream of chicken, diced potatoes, S&P, ranch packet, chicken broth, and chicken. Mix well. Set crockpot for high 4 hours or low 8 hours.    2. 30 mins before the crockpot is ready, shred your chicken and add frozen mixed vegetables.    3. For the biscuits, cut into fourths and place on a baking sheet. Follow the directions on the back of the can. Mine was 350 for 15 mins.    4. Once crockpot is done, add chicken pot pie mixture in a bowl and add biscuits on top. Easy Chicken & Cheese Taco Bell Style Quesadillas are an easy dinner that won’t disappoint! INGREDIENTS 1 lb chicken breast 2 TBSP of butter 1/2 tsp salt and pepper 1/4 tsp cayenne 2 tsp chili powder 1 tsp each of cumin, paprika, and dried cilantro Extra Grande burrito size flour tortillas Shredded cheddar cheese Taco Bell Creamy Chipotle sauce INSTRUCTIONS Cut chicken up into small pieces. Add 2 TBSP of butter to a skillet over medium high heat. Season with salt, cayenne, chili powder, cumin, paprika, dried cilantro, and black pepper (you could also just use a taco seasoning packet instead of these seasonings if you prefer that). Cook chicken until it reaches an internal temp of 165 degrees. Remove the chicken from the skillet and turn the heat down to medium. Lay out the tortillas and top with shredded cheese, chicken, and the Taco Bell sauce. Fold tortillas in half and cook until both sides are golden brown and crispy. Enjoy! CHICKEN THAT DOESNT SUCK. This is one of the best 1 pan chicken recipes you’ll make. The secret is the marinate that will elevate the chicken and the quick garlicky herb sauce is unbelievably good! I’m using bone-in skin-on chicken thighs to make the chicken more flavorful and juicy, but you can remove the skin if you prefer, too. I paired this with a simple salad, but it would be complete with some regular rice, quinoa, or if you’re doing lowcarb/keto, some of my lowcarb @kaizenfoodco rice. . This is how I made it (feel free to multiply for more) . 1.Grab 4 skin-on bone-in chicken thighs, dab them dry with a paper towel and add them to a bowl. . 2.For the marinade, grab a medium mixing bowl. Add 2 tbsp drizzle of olive oil, 2 tbsp tomato paste, 4 minced garlic cloves, the zest and juice of 1 large lemon, a couple generous pinches salt, pepper, 1 tbsp smoked paprika, 1 tbsp oregano or thyme, 1/4 to 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper. Mix it really well. . 3.Add the marinade to the chicken, and mix really well covering all sides. Let this ideally sit for 2 to 6 or ideally, overnight. . 4.Preheat oven to 410F. Remove chicken from fridge and let it come up to room temp before putting in the oven. . 5.Place chicken on a wire rack and put it in the oven at 410F for 35-40 mins. . 6.While thats going, make your sauce. I processed together 3 tablespoons of thick greek yogurt (or labneh), a handful of fresh mint (about 3 tablespoons), 2 scallions (green and white part), 1/2 large jalapeño, 1 tbsp olive oil, the juice of half a lemon, and a couple generous pinches of salt + pepper. Process well, taste, and adjust to your preference. . 7.Remove the chicken from the oven, plate it. Again, you can serve this with whatever base you like (it would be delicious with regular rice, quinoa, or if you’re lowcarb/keto my high protein kaizen rice), some salad of choice, and this sauce. .
