Replying to @Ciara Jones I grew up listening to emo music and always said I would never listen to country, that was until I listened to @Tyler Childers for the first time in my life. Growing up in the south without one of those superficial singing voices always made be feel out of place because I knew at a very young age that I wanted to do music someday. If you asked me back then what i wanted to be when i grew up, it woulda been a rockstar. Still to this day, as I turn 30 on this coming wednesday, I look back at myself as a teen in appreciation for learning to at least play some of the basics of guitar. Today I’m appreciative that I never truly gave up what i loved. I still have a passion for music and that is literally all kinds of music by definition no genre. Needless to say, this song is about some of the darkest days I’ve had in my life. I still find a way today to cope with them all. #tylerchilders #tylerchildersmusic #youngblacksinatra #youngblacksinatraisback #aintcominhome #deadbeatdad #singlemom #country #emo #emotionalmusic
