From March 15th 2024 This video is too good not to share with y’all. This was Wednesday on our way home from her lab appointment. We ended up needing to drive to Los Angeles that day for blood and platelets. After they checked her out and realized she looked as good as I said she did, despite the fact she needed both blood and platelets. They let us come home, we slept in our own beds and woke up to our beautiful family. Nothing is better than the simplicity of just being home with the people you love the most. Made it back late, but we made it and that’s all that matters. Update: from Mon Jan 15th 2024 Still admitting at CHLA it was a hectic weekend. Multiple scans, lots of tests & new medication started. The amazing oncology Radiation team came in immediately to give Delilah emergency Radiation to one of the tumors on her spine. Both tumors will get multiple sessions of radiation this week. The emergency dose was to the more severe tumor to provide relief. All she wants is to go home 💔 The plan for now is to radiate the spine and get her comfortable enough to be ok at home. I hate that cancer keeps interrupting my little girls life, our life! We really thought we’d be home by now. For our friends asking how you can help with medical expenses, GoFundMe is linked in bio. Summer, Jax, Daddy & Nana all rushed to the hospital to be with Delilah. We’ve been coming back and fourth every day. I know being at the hospital all day long becomes a lot for Summer & Jax but they do so well and understand why we are here to the best of their ability. They play together and do what they can to pass the time. We are all in this together, even though some days I can’t believe this their life as well. Discharged from the Hospital late friday night, she made it home around 11pm. We woke up early the next day because Delilah said she wanted to go to the North Pole but we live in California and fighting Cancer is our priority right now. We have a plan to get her strong enough for travel so we can take her on the actual polar express near the @coloradohotsprings Until we can check that off her bucketlist, we decided to drive her about an hour up into the mountians to Alt Sierra Ski Resort. She was only outside for about an hour, made a few snow balls, went down the big hill. After that she was done lol she was ready for a nap in the Warming hut. Around 4pm made our way back down the mountain before the roads iced over. We didnt have chains on our tires. It was a beautiful experience for everyone. Last 24 hours in the life of a mom, whos daughter is fighting cancer. So many emotions so many thoughts that I wish were not mine!! Update: Delilah is doing better, pain wise. Off morphine & now on methadone. She has began to tell me her right rib area hurts again. She has had disease there in the past and had it radiated multiple times. God please NO💔😭 no more cancer God my heart can’t take it. Do you hear me God? PLEASE! Her counts are slowly coming back up. She spiked fevers all day yesterday, but overnight things were good no fever as of 4:20am this morning 2/8/24 she has to recover and can’t do any treatment until counts are back up. Shes set for the last round of MIBG therapy she’s able to get. As it can only be given 3 times in a persons lifetime and my Delilah already received it twice. However it’s not set for another 2 weeks, in these 2 weeks we need the cancer to stay away and Delilah fully recover. Praying this is her saving grace, and we can get her healthy enough to continue this fight. God give us all strength we need it so bad. I’m still holding on to faith and hoping for the miracle I know is coming. Delilah shall live in Jesus mighty name! She’s still manages to smile through it all! Zoey's 1st trip to the cancer survivor clinic. She looks great 💛 We will have to wait about a week for her blood work. We were filled with a lot of overwhelming information and what we need to do moving forward to make sure she's all good. There is a possibility of a 2nd cancer, from the chemo she had taken but no signs as of today. She will only get checked once a year unless we have concerns.
