The amount of radium in this plane astounded me. There are about 13 gauges/meters from what i counted within the cockpit, most of which had large amounts of radium within them. I calculated there is roughly 398 uCi of pure radium or about 11.8 mg. That is an insane amount of radium for those who have no idea. Not only that, everything in that plane is now so so so so so very contaminated beyond repair, this is because of radon produced from the radium.
