🐙 THE CHRISTMAS EVE OCTOPUS 🤌 The Feast of the Seven Fishes has begun and this is the crown jewel of it all for my family! Got all the details on how to make it below. ✔️ For us, the octopus is a symbol of our Sicilian heritage. It’s another Christmas Eve culinary traditional brought by my Grandma when she immigrated from Sicily in the 1940s. 📌 Our octopus salad is SO easy to make and insanely delicious if octopus is your thing. Here’s how it’s done… 1️⃣ Clean the octopus and remove the beak. 2️⃣ Boil water with squeezed lemon juice and whole lemons. Add in the octopus once boiling 3️⃣ Check the octopus as it boils. It should be super tender - the more tender, the better!
