There are a few different reasons your flat iron could be sticking: 1. Your hair has product in it (it’s best to curl with a straightener when your hair is brushed out and clean) 2. Your sections are too bulky 3. Your hair is damaged (a lot of women have voiced that their straighteners stick towards the ends (this is where our hair is the oldest/most damaged) 4. The texture of your hair is causing it to stick, such as having very curly hair. 5. Your straightener is not made well for curling hair. I have used great straighteners for curling (my airflow being the easiest for gliding through my hair) and I have also used some straighteners that pulled and ripped out my hair. Sometimes the quality of the tool is a factor. Start with trying these tips: 1. Only use heat protectant (no other products) prior to styling until you get the hang of it. 2. Brush out any tangles (it works best if you brush section by section) 3. Make sure the pieces you are curling are thin enough that the hot iron is going to be able to distribute heat evenly across the strand of hair. Bulky sections do not glide as well. 4. If it is still sticking, pull on the hair above the tool to create tension as you pull downward. 5. OR, you can let up on the clamp and continue curling until your entire hair strand is in the hot iron. Then, let up on the clamp and let the curl fall out. (This may not work on straighteners that are not rounded) #flatironcurls #hairtutorial #curlinghair #hairhelp #creatorsearchinsights @wavytalkofficial #airflowstyler #wavytalk2in1 #wavytalkairflowstyler #wavytalk #wavytalkhair
