Earlier this month I have had the pleasure of attending a 1-on-1 mentor session by the one and only Ms. Shantae (@Shantae Blink Minks on here and IG as well). This year I decided to do things differently for my birthday something more productive. Getting certified as a Lash Tech by Ms. Shantae was one of my goals. Being a lash artist is something I have been working towards for a few years now. A quick transparency moment… I just kept overthinking the entire process and doubting myself. I have come to learn that navigating with that mindset gets you nowhere and will have you fixated on the “what ifs.” I took the initiative to get things rolling again and I promised myself that this time around I would keep it going! I must say that I am doing just that! This time around I feel more confident in not only myself but my skills as well starting out as a beginner lash tech. It is only up from here and I am eager to see the accomplishments that I will achieve as a Lash Tech.
