What do you reach for on the bad days of grief? It can take a really long time to navigate all the triggers, anniversaries and, well, just missing them Some of the things from your "old" life don't seem to fit in quite the same way anymore, so it's difficult to know which way to turn. Writing down what's helping you personally and also acknowledging what isn't can be really useful in being able to find your way forward and also to ask for help if you need to. On the awful days, when you just can't think straight, checking what you've written in your journal might just help you make a choice that brings a little calm.
