I’m a huge Trader Joe’s fan. Trader Joe’s was started in 1967 in Southern California and is national chain of grocery stores across the US. If you’ve been to a Trader Joe’s you know it is not like other supermarkets. One of the main things that’s sets Trader Joe’s apart from its competitors is its pricing and its speciality items. The pricing - Trader Joe’s keeps prices consistent across the country. Meaning the cost for something in a higher cost of living area will be the about the same as a median or lower cost of living area. There may be slight variations in pricing due to taxes or distribution costs, but it will be very close nationwide. They are able to do this because they have direct relationships with their vendors and buy direct from suppliers. They do their best to negotiate lower prices so their customers can see everyday low costs. They don’t have coupons, just low prices everyday. You will notice Trader Joe’s also doesn’t sell branded items, but instead has is own unique branded items. I personally stock up on items when I go to Trader Joe’s because it is more reasonable than a supermarket. Buying affordable groceries can make a huge difference in your monthly expenses. If you do not cook they have plenty of premade options which is much more affordable than delivery or eating out. #traderjoes #groceries #grocery #shopping #wsgnd #affordable #money #saving #spending #savingmoney #budget #budgeting #expenses #groceryshopping #personalfinance #personalfinances #personalfinanceforwomen
