Meet Mr. Tubs (AKA Maverick MASA #35827) – a sweet senior guy who has to have a family of his own by August 5th! What is life like with Mr. Tubs? He needs nothing more than a comfy spot to rest his old bones & a good pet behind his ears! His favorite things are playing tug-of-war with his rope toy & chicken nuggets. If you’re around, he loves to be near you. But he’s also perfectly content to lay around by himself on the couch all day, every day. He is a very sweet, loyal dog - one of the dogs you can tell appreciates living the “good life” now. He currently lives in a family with an 8 year old & has been around kids from 7 & up on a day-to-day basis. He has been introduced to a lot of new people and he has been friendly to everyone, usually wanting to play! There’s nothing better than coming home to Mr. Tubs – he is always very excited & brings a toy to show off every single time. It is best for Mr. Tubs to be in a single dog household to ensure successful, long-term placement! Mr. Tubs is hoping to live out his golden years with a loving family of his own! He’s an affectionate, low-energy friend who still has a lot of love to give and life to live. 🥹 He is used to being on a lead in the yard. He does good with baths & nail trimmings. He sleeps alone & stays home alone during the day fine. He is potty trained and kennel trained (though not needed). He is heartworm negative and neutered. Mr. Tubs’ foster is willing to transport him to any approved adopter.
