I was sent this little scan tool to try out in my shop and see how I like it. here is an unboxing and initial setup video. My initial impression is that it is fairly intuitive to use and seems to be made of decent quality materials. I finally had a truck come in for a dyno tune it was actually hassle-free, so I knocked it out real quick. This 2007 classic Silverado is sporting a Truck Norris camshaft from Brian Tooley Racing along with a FTI torque converter, long tube headers, TBSS intake manifold with a LS3 throttle body and some flex fuel injectors to handle the extra airflow. This video is to demonstrate the importance of keeping your commanded AFR safe during the tuning process in the event that the actual AFR ends up being much leaner than what you are commanding. no good news today unfortunately for this Cadillac. after I received several DMs about where the car may have came from and the reputation, I decided to go ahead and do a compression check while I had the plugs out and basically confirmed what I had been told. I'll do my best to get the car running better than the way it was dropped off, but unfortunately I don't really feel like leaning on the car and seeing what kind of power it's putting out because that might just be what finishes it off. if I can make it idle and drive better, it will at least leave in better condition than when it was dropped off even if it's on borrowed time.
