This was something Ive been wanting to experiment with for a while now; mainly because I have that monster tire just sitting on my back patio and rarely getting any usage. Im not a big sumo-squat or sumo-deadlift guy, but this one felt remarkably different than any barbell variation I ever tried; this one I mainly felt in my glutes- more than I normally would during any squat variation. I was limited to 135# because that’s just what I could fit with those fat plates on the pin. Definitely felt like I could have done more with the proper setup. For those who suffer chronic neck and back pain, this is an excellent alternative (Depending on the nature and severity of your injury of course!)
