How I water my Staghorn Ferns so they don't die π Keep in mind some species are a bit different in their needs! First I always use a moisture meter, but if you don't have one, you can wait until the leaves look a bit droopy. Then for my mounted ones, I soak or flood them and let them drip dry! For potted ferns I always bottom water, but that's a bit harder of a method for some. I've found Staghorns to be incredibly forgiving, so find what works best for your schedule and for your lighting/airflow! Unlike other ferns these guys can do better on the dry side, and root rot can still be a problem.
