JAPANESE CREAM MILK BUN roux 2 tbsp all purpose flour 3 tbsp water 3 tbsp full cream milk mix together, turn on the heat & cook until it form a thick paste. set aside & let it cool. dough 1/2 cup warm milk 1 tbsp yeast 1 tsp sugar (mix together & let it sit for 5 minutes or until it turned foamy) 2 & 1/2 cup all purpose flour 2 tbsp milk powder 1/4 cup sugar 1/2 tsp salt 1 egg 1/4 cup melted butter roux mix together & knead until it is smooth & elastic. shape the dough into a ball & place in a lightly greased bowl. cover the bowl and let it rise for 60 minutes. divide the dough & shape it into balls. cover & let it rise for another 30 minutes. brush the surface with milk & bake at 180°c for 15-17 minutes or until the tops are golden. make sure to preheat your oven first for 15 minutes before baking. you can brush it with melted bitter once the buns are out from the oven. cream beat 1 cup non dairy whipping cream with instant custard mixture. #japanesemilkbuns
