Just in time for Soup Season…Low Country Chowder! 🤩 ✨1 pound Gulf Shrimp ✨1 pound Smoked Sausage ✨1 pound of Lump Crab ✨1/4 stick Butter ✨1 Onion ✨2.5 cups Corn ✨1 pound quartered Gold Potatoes ✨1/2 cup Flour ✨1 tablespoon Old Bay Seasoning ✨1/2 teaspoon Creole Seasoning ✨1 teaspoon each Garlic and Onion Powder ✨Dash of Salt and Crackling of Pepper ✨1 1/2 cups White Wine ✨3 cups Seafood Stock ✨1 Tbs Fresh Thyme ✨3-4 Bay Leaves ✨1 Lemon ✨1 Cup Heavy Cream (Peel and devein shrimp. Sauté shrimp with olive oil until pink. Add sausage and cook together for a few minutes. Remove from heat and set aside. Peel and dice your potatoes, slice your lemon in half, and dice your onion. Sauté onion in butter until translucent, then add in your corn. Throw all seasonings in and sauté together. Pour in your wine and let it simmer for 6-7 minutes or so. You want to reduce it by about half. After your wine has reduced, add in the seafood stock, the potatoes, lemon, bay leaves, and thyme. Let it all simmer 25 minutes. After 25 minutes, remove lemon and bay leaves, and add in your shrimp and sausage. Drizzle in the heavy cream.
