I LOVE THIS HOUSE. We moved into this 97 year old Tudor style beauty a year ago next month. I love to look at how far it’s come, but remember that making a home takes time, despite what you may often see on the Internet. We still have blank walls, renovation to do lists, & empty spaces waiting for backordered items to arrive or for me to decide what should fill them. We have place holders for things until we stumble on a perfect fit. Not only does making a house a home take time, but filling it with the kind of memories you feel from this sound does. It’s holidays, milestones, & day to day moments with loved ones that truly make it something special. I love living in an old home. Even though ours is almost 100 years old, we’re only the fifth owners to call it home, which I find even more special. It was my dream to find an old home, with character that had been updated to my taste (what I was starting to think was an impossible feat), but had a number of projects left for us to do to truly make it our own. We’re in the midst of a bathroom renovation for baby girl’s nursery right now & have a list of other things we plan to do over the years. I feel so lucky to call this house home! I have all of my home decor linked in my LTK on my ‘Home Links’ collection. I share a ton of exclusive home content there so be sure to follow along for more! #dreamhouse #dreamhome #oldhome #oldhouse #tudorhome #homedecor #homestyle #dallashome #decor #housegoals #nancymeyers #interiors #kitchengoals #interiordesign
