Day 2 of sight seeing in New York 🗽 and I forgot to mention that while we were walking over Brooklyn Bridge there was an earthquake - but we didn’t feel a thing! We walked the bridge fairly early and I’m glad we did as when we walked back it was already really busy. There seemed like so many options and opinions on how to see the Statue of Liberty. We went for a short paid for cruise as although many said about the free ferry we wanted the guaranteed view of the statue in all of her glory, seeing as we’d come all this way. The boys enjoyed the Museum of Illusions, but it was expensive for what it was, the one in Edinburgh was way better! Visiting Carrie’s apartment and the Friends apartment was definately something for me. It was just nice to stroll around such a lovely part of town. We ended up at Washington Square park, which was so cool. The boys were so sweet and asked some Ukrainian boys who were also on holiday to play football - they even make friends on city breaks 🥰 Jackson made a New York friend too, so sweet to watch. He just ran up to a boy and shouted ‘it’ and tapped him and ran off - imagine if making friends as adults was that easy 🙌🏻 📍Liberty Bagels 📍Brooklyn Bridge 📍DUMBO, Manhattan Bridge & Timeout Market 📍Liberty Super Express Cruise to see the Statue of Liberty 📍Museum of Illusions 📍Carrie Bradshaw’s apartment 📍Friends Apartment 📍Washington Square #NewYork #NewYorkwithkids
