Natural astaxanthin supplements from Hawaiian microalgae! Cyanotech operates land-based algae farms out of Kona, where pools are grown and harvested for this unique seafood product. Astaxanthin is used in the aquaculture industry as a feed ingredient for many species of fish, including salmon. It’s also a great antioxidant, and I’ve been taking it for a while now as a supplement to see how it works for me.
