Over the next few days, I’m going to be sharing Romanian rescue dogs who need homes. Before I do, I first wanted to put some context behind why it’s important to highlight these dogs. Today we visited the public shelter. This is a government funded facility who are paid to take dogs off the street. Dogs here are held for 14 days and if they haven’t found a home in that time, sadly they are highly likely to be euthanised. The team I went with had the impossible task of deciding which dogs they could save, but sadly there isn’t enough space to save them all. Private shelters like Care for Dogs, are dedicated to saving as many dogs as possible and are passionate about tackling the issue on the ground in Romania. They partner with @thepackprojectuk who coordinate adoptions in the UK, helping to free up more space and allowing them to save more lives. The goal of this trip is to help as many dogs as possible to find homes, which in turn will free up more space and save more lives. If you’re considering adopting a dog, please contact @thepackprojectuk or keep an eye out over the next few weeks for more features on the dogs available. If you’re not in a position to adopt, consider sharing this or tagging a friend to help spread the word and get as many eyes as possible on our trip! #romanianrescuedog #rommie #rescuedog #adopt Footage by @aaroncandlincreative
