Honest Review of HEXCLAD PANS! Are Hexclad a SCAM, the answer is no. Hexclad doesnt make any false claims but they do have really clever marketing tactics to make their pans seem like they are worth the hogh price tag. They are good heavy bottom pans but shouldnt be used for searing because of the nonstick coating. They are also not nonstick without being seasoned which bega the question, why add a nonstick coating to it in the first place. In addition to that you cant wash them in the dishwasher if they are seasoned so a lot of these claims are contradicting themselves. Theyre still good pans, but if you want nonstick, then a nonstick pan is better. And if you want to sear, then carbon steel or cast iron are the way to go. Hybrid technology just doesnt make sense. Im still going to use these pans because I really like them and they were gifted to me, but would i ever buy them, no!
