My number one ask question is always how did I get started? While, I learned what I do from tons of trial & error and a whole lot of persistence, it doesn’t have to be that hard & you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself! My go to answer for everyone when they ask is always to just start and get moving … which is still very intimidating to most people. I seriously encourage you to look into the Path to Pro Program @The Home Depot and check out all their Free resources and courses. If you are just looking to improve your skills in home improvement, or if you are considered a job in the trades, it offers you so many options. I seriously wish I would have known about something like this when I first got started. I have personally been working on getting my general contractors license over the last year. The Program offers many different skilled trades training programs … you can take courses on General Construction, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Drywall and Paint. I love being able to learn and watch courses at my own pace and availability. I absolutely love what I do and I love being able to create amazing spaces I dream about with my own two hands! It seriously is the most rewarding job and experience!
